Similar to the Kentucky and Syracuse editions, Nike has recently unveiled a new color scheme influenced by an American university, specifically the St. John's institution. The Dunk Low University Red is part of a collection that also includes the Low Brazil and Colors Field models.

For the Nike Dunk Low University Red, the designers have chosen a white leather upper that complements the white midsole. The laces, outsole, and Swoosh feature red leather panels of a similar shade. The tongue bears the "Nike" logo for a final touch to the overall design.
